{Day 3} Wreath

...just a reminder. I am linking up with The Nester for her 31 Days challenge. If you would like to start at the beginning you can read THIS post here.

Today was one of those days where my calander was empty when I woke up and it ended up being full. Ian and I made a Target run in the morning and then headed out to fix one of the soda machines we have at a local business. In the span of 10 minutes I received 4 calls complaining that the machine didn't work. Once we got there I was surrounded by annoyed thirsty customers. It was a quick fix and then we were on our way to Wal-Mart since I forgot to get diapers and wipes (which was the whole point of the Target trip). I proceeded to spend the rest of my day working with a customer on rebranding her photography business. I can't wait to get it all done and show you what we have come up with. It is clean and simple and absolutely perfect for her.

Tonight I ran over to another wonderful customer's house to finish up her car decal and chit chat. She is supposed to send me a picture of it in the morning so that I can share it with you all. Allison is not only a customer but a new friend. She owns Stylish Gals Boutique and is just starting up her Lia Sophia Jewelry business. She is having her first party on Saturday and I can't wait to mix and match the jewelry with the clothes.

It wasn't until I put the kids to bed and went over my to do list for tomorrow that I realized that I hadn't blogged or done anything to blog about. Luckily, I have projects all over to work on. I grabbed the closest bag to me and got to work.
(Excuse the bad picture, it is 10pm and my house is DARK)

Katrina had asked for a Halloween themed Peeps wreath for her door and this is what I came up with. It literally took me less then 10 minutes to make. I obviously not a wreath maker but I know she is going to love it and I can at least say that I completed something today. That is one less project cluttering up my office.

{Day 2} Decals

...just a reminder. I am linking up with The Nester for her 31 Days challenge. If you would like to start at the beginning you can read THIS post here.

After the quick list making and super late post last night I knew I needed to do something different today. This morning I woke up and picked the first thing that popped out at me from my list.

This file is the first thing that I open when I start work each day. I do this as a visual reminder that need to redo the decals for my car. Do you see that file date? September 17th. Yep, I have been opening and closing that file everyday for 2 weeks. That is not even the worst part of it all.

This is! This is a picture of my old decal from today. I have been driving around for a YEAR with this on the side. The drivers side was missing even more since I would pull letters off while I was filling up my tank. I would forget about it once I got back in the car. I am so embarrassed that my car looked like that. I mean this is what I do, I am surprised that I didn't scare all of my customers away.
Here it is all done! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how it came out.

P.S. I did finish taking off the old decal from the sides.

{Day 1} Lists

...just a reminder. I am linking up with The Nester for her 31 Days challenge.

I was having a hard time knowing what to write about for {Day 1}. The problem was that I started and completed several orders for the day and checked of several items from my to do list. Yet, nothing seemed worthy of kicking off this challenge. I then realized that I needed to come up with some kind of idea list of what I hoped to complete in the next 31 days.

So here is my list. It has 30 items on it that I have either started and left uncompleted or ideas of things that I want to do.

So maybe today was not exactly what I had in mind when I woke up this morning, but at least I completed something. I am ending {Day 1} with a guide line for the next 30 days and a completed blog post.

31 days of...

I am linking up with The Nester for her 31 Day of...

I chose to do 31 days of completion because it is something that challenges me several times a day. I have all of these grand ideas and plans that I start and then do not finish for some reason or another. My leaving things unfinished isn't just limited to crafts, I am constantly walking away from a task before it is completed. So for the month of October I will be completing and blogging about something each day. It may be something that has to do with my kids, my business, my friends, or my home.

I will update this post with the links to each day so that it is easy to keep track of them.

Midweek Randoms

I my name is Lindsay and I have neglected my blog in forever. This is a picture of me in case you forgot.

This was my very last Pumpkin Spice Latte. Starbuck's doesn't guarantee that their drinks are gluten free and I just can't risk getting sick.
I hate the look of my blog. I am working on making it pretty in hopes that it will motivate me to blog more.

Ian LOVES this truck. It goes everywhere with him. He would rather sleep with it then with any stuffed animal.

Oh yeah, can anyone tell me where my baby went? I swear I put my baby to bed one night and this little boy woke up in his place.

I love this little area of my house. A friend gave me that table and I painted it the yellow color (my first time doing furniture). The signs and wreath are also done by me. I did move the smaller Autumn Blessing sign and replaced it with the Happy Harvest one. Don't mind the gate behind the table. It is there protecting my kitchen from the little boy that suddenly appeared one morning. I just bought 2 huge pumpkins that I am going to decorate and use there.

Can you tell I LOVE Fall and pumpkins?

Happy 1st Birthday!

Wow! I can't believe that it has been a month since I last blogged. For those of you who are still reading I have a great raffle going on in celebration of my business' 1st birthday. The prize is this awesome 12"x24" canvas in the color of your choice.

It has been a very busy month. I am still having health issues that are getting worked out. I have also been buried under a wave of orders for some local business. I am defiantly not complaining it is great to be busy and I LOVE what I do. Since it has been so long I will just leave you with some pictures of what has been going on around here besides work.

Date Night with the BFF
Jack and I waiting for my "date" to arrive.
My BFF and I at Red Lobster before the show.
Where we ended up... the show was hilarious and Erica even went onstage to sing.

Katrina's 1st dental procedure.
She did amazing and didn't even care that I had to go into the waiting room with the little kids. I love the kid's dentist.
Happy Face... she pushed me out of the way after this picture was taken so that she could watch the movie on the ceiling.
The office has the same movie playing in all of the rooms so that the kids don't get upset when their name is called.

Fair Time

This cracked me up. The older 2 were just as happy climbing the bleachers as they were riding the rides.

 I want him.

Ian does not appreciate being told no.

Harmony has figured out how to take self pictures on my phone. Here are 2 of the over 300 currently on there.

The girls from my church got together for a craft exchange.
This little cutie and his twin joined us.

The pile of gifts. I ended up with a really cute necklace that I have yet to wear.

Allergy testing for me.
The result is that I am allergic to everything.

Ian vs. the chicken

The chicken won. Ian was not happy to have the chicken say hi to his toes. He cried for a whole two seconds and then went back to playing with his sister. Now when you ask Ian if he wants to say hi to the chickens he waves from afar.

The first waterslide of the season.

I really want this for Mother's Day.

 Our first harvest this year.

Jack wants this chair for his birthday. I told him that he would have to get rid of his bed to make it fit in his room and he told me that he would sleep in it. I love that kid.

Well that is all for now... see you next time! I promise that it won't be another month.

life's 10

Things have been crazy around here so I will give you a quick top 10.

1. My asthma/allergies are doing much better. They are still not completely under control but are headed that way. I have an appointment on the 15th with the allergist to see what he can do for me.

2. Katrina had her first appointment to take care of some dental issues. She is terrified of needles so I was not looking forward to the appointment. She surprised me and did FANTASTIC!

3. Harmony spent some time (less than 30 minutes) in the ER on Friday night due to her getting into an unopened package of Exlax and eating it. When I walked into the house from an appointment she couldn't wait to show me her "candy". Luckily, the kind that she had was not the one which can affect your heart. It was just a very long weekend in terms of diapers. It was probably the only time that I was thankful for her not being potty trained. She is all better and is back to her normal monster self.

4. Wow...we have spent a lot of time at healthcare providers lately.

5. While I was feeling really badly I wasn't able to do things around the house and now I am paying for it. Between sickness and Spring Break my house is a disaster. Getting back into shape is my goal of the week. We are hoping to have a yard sale at current house on Saturday and at our rental house (we were renting it semi furnished) the following Saturday.

6. The upside of me being sick is that I spent a lot of time on my computer designing. Now I am working on getting signs done. I have several to take pictures of and to list tomorrow.

7. I have had a couple of really fun orders lately. I have some birthday shirts coming up as well as a couple of big sibling shirts to announce pregnancies.

8. My BFF just found out that she is pregnant and I could not be anymore excited for her. Her oldest is 6 months older that Katrina and her youngest is a week older than Harmony. I though I would want to be pregnant again when she conceived but surprisingly I am not. I am happy in my decision to be done with 4.

9. This year's Easter celebration was very low key. Katrina and Jack had a little egg hunt at their school on Thursday that I was able to help at. On Sunday they woke up early and brought their baskets into our room to open them. I had a headache so I went back to sleep after they showed me everything. When I work up we went outside and all four of the kids hunted eggs. Ian could careless about picking up eggs. He was all about playing with their outside toys. Dinner was simple with ham, asparagus, scalloped potatoes, salad, and rolls. I flaked and didn't get pictures of any of the festivities.

10. I am seriously thinking about cancelling our cable. The only reason why we still have it is because it is only $25 a month more for it with our current provider. I am debating switching internet providers but in order to do so I would have to give up half of my upload speed. The bonus of the new provider would be saving $60 a month and having a faster download speed. With how much I am uploading pictures and files I don't know if it would be worth it. Any thoughts?
